Ayers of the Borough of West Newton, mother of Edward Ayers, aged 12. His father is dead. He is uncontrollable; lies, steals, jumps trains, keeps bad company. (signed) Mrs. E. Ayre Isaac Cooper of West Newton deposes that he is the grandfather of Eddie Ayers. Will not obey his mother; jumps trains, refuses to attend school, continuously getting into trouble. (signed by mark) J.T. Baer deposes that he lives in the same house as Eddie Ayers; bad boy, incorrigible. (signed) J.T. Ayres lives on Water Street, West Newton, Westmoreland Co. Sent here for stealing a keg of beer from Railroad Station. Description: Height 4'5'; weight 61 pounds. Light brown hair, gray eyes, fair complexion, freckled. One vaccine mark on left arm. Age: 12; received June 27, 1899. Born Penna. of English parentage. Lutheran. Parents not intemperate, do not own property. 2 older brothers, 1 younger brother, 1 older sister, 3 younger sisters. Can read & write. Swears, steals, is intemperate. Does not lie or use tobacco.
