Brown buwbrown@comcast.net July 31, 2008, 4:39 pm Complaint made before William Carey, Justice of the Peace of Westmoreland County, by Mrs. John Casbuyer of Jeannette, Westmoreland Co., mother of Michael Zwierczenski, a minor. Said infant absolutely refuses to work and steals everything of value to procure money to buy drinks and cigarettes. He never returns home until the early hours of morning and uses profanity to me and his sister and throws stones at us. John Casbuyer is the stepfather of the said Michael Zwierczenski and testifies the same. He has threatened to burn down our house. (signed) John Casbarra) William E. Yeager of Jeannette deposes that he sees defendant loitering around the corners of our town and runs with a bad gang of young of questionable character. Additional Comments: Notes made upon the boy's arrival at the Pennsylvania Reform School at Morganza: Michael Zwiezuski, No. 5674, Division F. Mother (error; should read faher) dead. Mother remarried to John Cashbuyer a glass worker living at Jeannette, Westmoreland Co., Penna. Sent here for not staying at home. Claims his stepfather did not treat him right. Description: Height 5'6'; weight 144 pounds. Light brown hair, brown eyes, fair complexion. 3 scars from cut on head near front. One vaccine mark left arm. Bullet wound scar on left leg. Age: 17 on May 3, 1899; received Apr. 7, 1899. Born Penna. of Polish parentage. Catholic. Stepfather intemperate. Mother not intemperate. Parents own property. No brothers; 1 older sister, 2 younger sisters. Can read and write. Swears, lies, steals, uses tobacco. Is not intemperate. Has not been arrested before.
