All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/pafiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Virginia Crilley http://www.genrecords.net/emailregistry/vols/00003.html#0000642 May 7, 2024, 3:26 pm Written: May 2, 1879 Recorded: 1879 Deed Olive Reformed Church to John Remally et al in Trust This Indenture made the second day of May in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight hundred and seventy Nine ( 1879 ) Between the Olive Reformed Church within the bounds of Westmoreland County Classis of the Pittsburg Synod of the Reformed Church in the United States , a corporation of the State of Pennsylvania of the first part and John Remally, James Davidson, Jacob Ludwick, George W Hankey, David Crooks and Andrew Dougherty Church Council of the Lutheran Church at Hankeys in Franklin Township Westmoreland County Pennsylvania in trust never the less for the Lutheran Congregation at Hankeys of the second part Witnesseth that the said party of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of Three Hundred Dollars lawful money of the United States of America unto it well and truly paid at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained sold aliened enfeoffed released conveyed and confirmed and by these presents do grant bargain sell alien enfeoff release convey and confirm unto the said parties of the second part their heirs and assigns all the right title and claim of said Olive Reformed Church of in and to the following described piece of ground situate in Franklin Township Westmoreland County Pennsylvania adjoining lands of Michael Hankey on the North and East Peter Yeager on the south and John Long on the west Containing Three acres more or less being the same Real Estate described in the articles of agreement dated 28 March 1873 between said parties and this deed made in pursuance of order of Court of Common Pleas of Westmoreland County at No 33 November Term 1878 Together with all and singular the buildings improvements ways waters watercourses rights liber this privileges hereditaments and appurtenances whatsoever there unto belonging or in anywise appertaining and the reversions and remainders rents issues and profits thereof and all the Estate right title interest property claim and demand whatsoever of the said party of the sond part first part in law Equity or otherwise howsoever of in and to the same and every part thereof To have and to hold the said described piece of ground hereditaments and prem 101 ises hereby granted or mentioned and intended so to be with the appurtenances unto the said party of the second part their heirs and assigns to and for the only proper use and behoof of the said par ties of the second part their heirs and assigns forever In trust never the less for the Lutheran Congregation at Hankeys the said party of the first part its successors and assigns do by these presents Covenant grant and agree to and with the said parties of the second ? part their heirs and assigns that it the said party of the first part its successors or assigns all and singular the hereditaments and premises herein above described and granted or mentioned and intended so to be with the appurtenances unto the said parties of ? the second part their heirs and assigns against it the said party ? of the first part and its successors and assigns and against all and every other person or persons whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof shall and will warrant and forever defend In witness whereof the said party of the first ? part have to these presents set their hands and seals dated the day and year first above written Sealed and delivered in the presence of us A McAlister Philip Hill J McAlister Joseph Remaley Levi Boamer Peter Dice Elders and Deacons of Olive Reformed Church Received the day of the date of the above indenture of the above named grantees the sum of Three hundred Dollars lawful money of the United States of America being the consideration money above mentioned in full Philip Hill A M Alisler Joseph Remnally J McAlister Levi Beaunter State of Pennsylvania Peter Dice County of Westmoreland.
