Letter from West Woods of Scott Haven, PA, to Supt. of Western Pennsylvania 
Reform School at Morganza, Pa.: Johnnie Woods' mother, Mrs. Martha Woods,  is 
very sick.  The writer, the boy's father, is also sick, and he has three little 
brothers and three little sisters.  Johnnie needed at home.  I am digging coal 
for my living and it is a very hard way of making a living for a large family.  
Please send my boy home if you think he has been there long enough for his 
crime.
