We encourage links to the state and county table of contents ____________________________________________________________________ Deed Book Vol.15 page467-8 Deed Robert Baldrige To David Luker This Indenture made this seventh day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and nine Between Robert Baldrige of South Huntington Township in the County of Westmoreland and State of Pennsylvania & Jane his wife of the one part & David Luker of the same place of the other part Whereas John Kuhns High Sheriff of the County of Westmoreland aforesaid by Deed Poll under his hand and seal bearing date the 21st day of September 1801 for the consideration therein mentioned did by virtus of a writ of Fieri Facias therein directed & recited did grant and confirm unto the Robert Baldridge & to his hiers & assigns all that all lott messuage & tenement & lott of ground Situate laying in the Town of West Newton marked in the general plan of said Town No.7 Containing thrity two perches strict measure late the property of William Snodgrass with the appurtenances To Hold the same to the said Robert Baldrige his heirs & assigns forever according to the act of General Assembly in such case made & provided as by said recited Deed Poll duly acknowledged & entered amoungst the record of the Court of Common Pleas of the said County relation thereunto being had more fully and at large appears now This Indenture Witnesseth that the said Robert Baldrige & Jane his wife for and in consideration of the sum of forty-dollars to them in hand paid the reciept whereof they do hereby acknowledge & thereof acquit and forever discharge the said David Luker his heirs executors & administrators by these presents have granted bargained & sold aliened enfeoffed release & confirmed unto the said David Luker & his heirs and assigns all that Lott or parcel of ground aforesaid Situate in the Township & County aforesaid on Youghiogheny River known in the general plan of the lotts of West Newton Lot No.7 containing thirty two perches strict measure Together with all and singular the rights members priviledges liberties hereditaments and appurtenances whatsoever thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining and the revisions & remainers rents issues & proffits thereof To Have and To Hold the said hereby granted & described lot of ground situate in the town aforesaid with the appurtenances unto the said David Luker his heirs & assigns to the only proper use benefit & behoof of him the said (Page 468 ) David Luker his heirs & assigns forever as fully and amply & for such estate under such conditions as the said William Snodgrass held the same & the said Robert Baldrige & his wife & their heirs the said hereby granted premises & every part & parcel thereof shall warrant guarantee and forever defend against all persons claiming or to claim by through or under them or their heirs & against all persons lawfully claiming the same In Witness whereof the parties to these presents have interchageably set their hands and seals the day & year first above written Robert Baldrige(seal) Jean (her x mark) Baldrige(seal) Signed Sealed & delivered in the presents of us Joseph Vankirke John Milligan Recieved the day of the date of the foregoing Indenture the sum of forty dollars it being the full consideration money therein mentioned Robert Baldrige Westmoreland County Commonwealth of Pennsylvania}SS Personally came before me the subscriber Robert Baldrige and Jean his wife She being of full age & examined apart from her husband and they both acknowledged the within conveyance to be their act and deed and desired that the same might be recorded as such Given under my hand and seal this eighth day of August 1809 Recorded the 9th day of February 1824 John Milligan
