We encourage links to the state and county table of contents. __________________________________________________________ Edward Byram This indenture made the nineteenth day of March in the year of our Lord one To thousand seven hundred & ninety between Edward Byram of Franklin Town Joseph Collins ship & County of Westmoreland & State of Pennsylvania yeoman of the one part & Joseph Collins of the same place yeoman of the other part. Wistnesseth that the said Edward Byram & Phoebe his wife for & in consideration of the sum of one hundred pounds lawful money of Pennsylvania to them in hand paid by said Joseph Collins at & before the sealing & delivery of these presents the receipt & payment whereof is hereby ac- knowledged & themselves fully satisfied Hath granted bargained & sold & by these presents doth grant bargain sell alien remise release & confirm unto the said Joseph Collins his heirs & assigns all that certain piece of bounded as follows Beginning at the white oak on the Manner line thence by Hilly Land North forty degrees West one hundred & forty perches to a dogwood & North fifty four degrees West forty nine perches to an ironwood South Seventy four degrees West Sixty five perches to a white oak thence by David Logans first division South thirteen degrees East one hundred & thirty five perches to a white oak thence by Sd Davids Second division North eighty eight degrees East one hundred & sixty three per- ches to the place of beginning Containing one hundred acres & three quarters & the us- ual allowances -- the same being part a certain tract Containing three & ninety five acres & nine tenths named the Residue Tract granted by the Supreme Executive Coun- cil of the Commonwealth of the said State of Penna xx Edward Byram his heirs & assigns the 2d day of April 1788 & inrolled in the Roles Office for the Sd State in Patant Book 214 page 77. Referance to the same being had may appear Together with all & Sin- gular the buildings woods water water courses rights title property claim & demand whatsoever both at law & in equity of him the said Edward Byram & phoebe his wife of in & to the same as above boundid & every part thereof To have & to hold the said des- cribed lot or piece of land with the hereditaments & premises above mentioned with the appurtenances unto the said Joseph Collinss his heirs & assigns to the only proper use benefit & behoof of him the said Joseph Collins his heirs & assigns foreverEx- cepting & reserving as is reserved by the Sd Commonwealth & the Sd Edward Byram for himself his heirs Exct Amt for the said Phoeba his wife Doth dovenant & promis to & with the said Joseph Collins his heirs & assigns by these presents that the Sd Edward Byram his heirs the said above mentioned & described lot or piece of one hundred Acres & three quarters & allowances & all & singular the premises hereby granted & released with the appurtenances unto him the said Joseph Collins his heirs & assigns & against all & evry other parson lawfully claiminn te same by any prior right shall & will warrant & forever defend by these presents & further that the said Edward Byram & his heirs shall & will from time to time & at all times hereafter mak do 7 execute all & evry such further & other lawful & reasonable act & acts thing and things in the law whatsoever for the more perfect & sure Confirming the said one hundred acres & three quarters & allowances with the appurtenances unto the said Joseph Collins his heirs & assugns forever as by the said Joseph Collins his heirs & assigns or by his or their coun- cil learned in the law shall be reasonably advised devised of requuired In witness Whereof the parties to these presents interchangeably set their hands & seals the day & year first above written Edward Byram -seal- Signed Sealed & delivered in the presence Phoebe Byram -seal- of us Adw.
