All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/pafiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Elizabeth Ordway ordmins@verizon.net November 9, 2006, 9:19 pm Source: Westmoreland Co., Pa Deed Book Vol. 30, P. 296 Written: October 6, 1846 Recorded: May 22, 1848 Release Sundry HINES to Simon HINE'S Exrs Know all men by these presents, that we Nicholas HINE of Westmoreland County, Peter HINE of Allegheny County both of the State of Pennsylvania, John HINE of the County of Wayne and State of Ohio sons and heirs in the will of Simon HINE late of Loyalhanna township in Westmoreland County Decd. and also Christian RICE of Wayne County and State of Ohio and Charlotte his wife late Charlotte HINE one of the daughters and legatees in the will of the said Simon HINE Deceased do hereby acknowledge, that on ____ this day had and received of and from Jacob HINE one of the executors of the last will and testament of the said Simon HINE of one thousand four hundred and thirty ___ dollars and twenty seven cents in full satisfaction and payment of all such sum or sums of money legacies and bequests as are given and bequeathed to the above named Nicholas, John, Peter, and Charlotte by the last will and testa- ment aforesaid and add interests accrued thereon, and there fore though this said Nicholas HINE, Peter HINE and John HINE as the said Christian RICE and Charlotte his wife do by there presents, release, acquit and forever discharge the said Jacob HINE his heirs executors and adminis- trators of and from the said legacy (Page 297) or legacies and of and from all actions, suits, payments, accounts, reckonings, claims and demands whatsoever for or by reasons thereof or of any other act, matter, cause or thing whatsoever, from the Beginning of the World to the day of the date of these presents. In Witness whereof, we the partners do hereunto set our hands and seals this sixth day of October A.D. one thousand eight hun- dred and forty six. Charlotte X RICE {seal} mark Be it remembered that on this sixth day of October A.D. one thousand eight hundred forty six before me William HENSELL over(?) of the Justices of the Peace for the County of Westmoreland residing and bring in Loyalhannah township in the said County personally come the above named Nicholas HINE Peter HINE John HINE Christian HINE (?) RICE and Charlotte his wife and the said Nicholas HINE Peter HINE John HINE Christian RICE did and there acknowledge in form of law that they had signed and sealed and is and for there act and deed delivered the above Release to the intent that the same might be recorded as such and the said Charlotte being by me in due from of law examined separate and apart from her said husband and the full contents of the dower Release being by me first made known to her she the said Char- lotte upon such separate examination as aforesaid that she did voluntarily and of her own free will and accord seal and as her act and deed deliver the said Release without any correction or compul- sion of her said husband.
