  Know all men by these presents that Jacob Klingensmith in Hempfield Township 
  in the county of Westmoreland & state of Pennsylvania Farmer for an in 
  consideration of the sum of £100 in special to me in hand well & truly paid by 
  William Teagarden of the said County Township & State the Receipt of which I 
  do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained sold Released and confirmed and 
  by these presents Do grant bargain sell and release enfull an confirm unto the 
  said William Teagard(en) all that tract of land situate lying and being in 
  Hempfield Township and County aforesaid adjoining lands of Hans Philip 
  Klinglesmith & John Klinglesmith and Jacob Freedey Containing 150 acres To 
  have and to hold the the [sic] said Tract of land unto the Sd William Teagard
  (en) his heirs and assigns to the only proper use benefit and behoof of the 
  said William Teagard(en) and to his heirs and assigns and the said Jacob 
  Klinglesmith do further bind my self my heirs executors Administrators and 
  assigns to Warrant and deed the said land & forever defend the above described 
  Tract of land unto the said William Teagard(en) his heirs Administrators and 
  assigns forever the Lord of the soil only excepted given under my hand and

  Signd Sealed and delivered in presence of us: Jacob Smith 	Henry Keifer
  Westmoreland County SS Personally appeared before me one of the Commonwealth 
  Justices of the Peace in & for the sd County the above named Jacob 
  Klinglesmith and acknowledged the above conveyance to be his act & deed and 
  desired the same might be recorded as such.     Given under my hand ---- 13th
