Whereas a certain Robert Cochran by virtue of a Warrant bearing Deat the 23rd of Aprile, 1789 obtained his Excellencies Pattent. Enrolled in pattant Book for Said State No. 17, page 106 for Four hundred and thirty four acres and a Quartor of land situate on the Wators of Blakleys Creek Said Township and County and the said Robert Cochran and his wife Elizabeth Conveyed the same in fee Simple unto the said William Marshall as by recourse being had unto said conveyance Will more fully appear now this indenture. Witnesseth that the said William Marshall for and in consideration of the Sum of Twenty Pounds to him in hand paid by the said Archibald Marshall the Receipt wherof I the said William Marshall and Elizabeth my wife doth hereby acknowledge Hath granted bargined and sold and by these presents doth grant bargin and sell Allien Remis Releas and confirm unto the said Archabald Marshall his heirs and assigns a certain part or peice of the above Described Tract of Land. Begining at a post at the end of Sixty Eight perches on the Sixteenth line of said tract and runing thence with said line South forty five degrees West fifty seven perches to a post thence by land of Thomas Murry South South Sixty six Degrees East one hundred perches to a black oak thence by land Hugh Willson North four Degrees East twenty pearches to a black oak North seventy nine Degrees and an half East one hundred and twelve perches to a hickory South fifty three degrees East fifty four perches to a Dead Chestnut North Sixty five Degrees East Seventy five perches to a White oak thence north six DegreesEast fifty eight perches to a post thence by land of Samuel Marshall being part of the first mentioned Tract north fifty four Degrees West fifty perches to a chestnut thence South Seventy Eight Degrees West two hundred and forty six perches to the place of begining containing one hundred and thrity one 1/2 acres and allowance of 6 PC+ for Roads &c. to have and to hold the last described peice of land and appurtainencies unto the said Archebald Marshall his heirs and assigns to the only propar use and belroof of the said Archebald Marshall his heirs and assigns forever Free from all Restrictions and Reserves Except as Excepted in the above redited pattent and I the said William Marshall doth for this covinent and agree with the said Arhcibald Marshall that the last dexcribed piece of land and appurtainancies shall be by me and my heirs warrented against all manner of person lawfully claiming thereto and unto the said Archabald Marshall his heirs and assigns. Shall for ever Warrent and Defend Given under our hands and seals the Day and year first above Written.
