Pa Bedford Co., Pa. tax lists 1773 Hempfield Twp. Peter Oury 2.0 and another Peter Oury 2.0 one is the father and one is the son. Westmoreland Co. PA, Hempfield Twp. Know all men by these present that Peter Oury of Hempfield in the County of Westmoreland and State of Pa. farmer for and in the consideration of the sum of Fifty pounds in specie to me in hand well and truly paid by Christopher Truby & Michael Huffnagle of the Township County & State aforesaid Esquires the receipt of which I do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained sold released enfroffed & confirmed and by these presents do grant bargain sell release enfroff and confirm unto the said Christopher Truby & Michael Huffnagle all that certain improvements plantation & tract of land situate lying and being in Hempfield Township aforsaid adjoining lands of William Daurhart Duke Jarnison Philip Cuntz and ADAM OURY containing by estimation two hundred and ninety acres (? the same more or less ) it being the same improvement which was which was made by ADAM OURY MY SON FOR ME to have and to hold the said improvement & tract of land unto the said Christopher Truby & Michael Huffnagle their heirs and assigns to the only proper use benefit and behoof of the said Christopher Truby and Michael Huffnagle & & to his heirs and assigns as tenants in common for ever subject nevertheless to the purchase money interest and quick rent due or to become due thereon to the Chief Lord or Lords of the fee there of In witness whereof & have hereunto set my hand and seal & seal this first day of April in the year of our Lord one Thousand seven hundred and eighty two Peter Oury Sealed & Delivered in the presence of ADAM x OURY STOPHEL OURY his mark Recieved this day of the date of the within deed poll the sum of fifty pounds the consideration money within mentioned I say received by me PETER OURY Westmoreland County ss Personally appeared before me the subscriber one of the Justices of the Peace for the County of Westmoreland in the Commonwealth of Pa.
