Crea To John Lukens Esqr D.S. S. Genl =========================================================================== Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, ss Whereas by virtue and in pursuance of an Order on Application No. 3362 ______ entered the thirteenth day of June 1769 by John Powell ______________________________________ there hath been surveyed a certain tract of land containing One hundred & fifty three acres & two thirds situate ________________________________________________________________ in the County of Westmoreland And Whereas the said John Powell by Deed dated 11th July 1788 Conveyed the said tract of Land to Michael Zimmerman and Jacob Byers.. And the said Jacob Byers by Deed dated 4th September 1789 Conveyed all his Right in the said described tract of Land to the said Michael Zimmerman ________________________________________________ And the said Michael Zimmerman _____hath paid the purchase money at the rate of Five Pounds Sterling per hundred acres, with the interest thereon due, agreeable to an Act of Assembly, passed the ninth day of April 1781, entitled, "An Act for establishing a Land-Office," &c. and a Supplement thereto, passed the twenty-fifth of June, then next following. THESE are therefore to authorise and require you to accept the said Survey into your Office, and to make return thereof into the Office of the Secretary of the Land-Office, in order for confirmation, by Patent to the said Michael Zimmerman. And for so doing, this shall be your Warrant.
