  Know all men by these presents that I George Spar Sr of Hempfield Township 
  Westmoreland County & State of Pennsylvania for and in Consideration of one 
  hundred pounds good & lawful money of Pennsylvania to me well & truly paid by 
  Peter Klingensmith Sr of the Township County & State aforesaid yeoman at or 
  before the sealing & delivery hereof the receipt whereof I do hereby 
  acknowledge and for other good causes & valuable considerations have granted 
  bargained Sold assigned released & confirmed and by these presents do grant 
  bargain sell assign release & confirm unto the said Peter Klingensmith & to 
  his heirs & Exec Adm or assigns all my land cows horses carpenter tools 
  household & all my right title & interest claim & demand of sd land goods & 
  chattels Together with tie imperlinances [sic] of sd land waters & water 
  courses & all my right title claim & demand of in & to the sd goods & chattels 
  To have & to hold to the Said Peter Klingensmith & to his heirs Executors & 
  Admins or assigns To the only proper use & behoof of him the Said Peter 
  Klingensmith forever warrant & defending the said land goods & chattels 
  against me my heirs executors Adm & assigns In witness whereof the said George 
  Spar Sr have put the said Peter Klingensmith in full possession thereof 
  Witness my hand & seal this first day of October in the year of our Lord one 
  thousand seven hundred and eighty nine.			Signed: George (his X

  	Sealed Signed & delivered in the presence of us: Jacob Smith, 
  Christian Boure
  	Westmoreland County SS Parsonally [sic] appeared before me the 
  Subscriber one of the Justices of the Peace & Court of Common Pleas in and for 
  the County of Westmoreland & Commonwealth of Pennsylvania George Spar Sr who 
  acknowledged the within instrument of writing as & for his Act & deed and 
  desired the same to be recorded according to law Witness my hand & seal 
  October thirty first one thousand seven hundred and eight(y) nine.
