(Clearfield, Pa.) February 3, 1858 On the 15th ult., near Irwin's station on the Penna. Railroad, at Hays, Warden & Co's coal works, a man named Joseph Boyce, entered the coal pit, out of curiosity, and while in, a large mass of slate fell upon him, which crushed both his thighs, fractured his skull, besides injuring him internally.
