Latrobe Bulletin August 8, 2008
Jessie Selesky Lundquist celebrated her 103rd birthday on Wednesday, Aug. 6, at
Latrobe Regional Health and Rehabilitation Center, Unity Township. Instead of a
cake, Jessie had a cream puff, one of her favorite sweets, for her special day.
Born Aug. 6, 1905, in Carnegie, Jessie moved to the Latrobe area as a young
child. She is the last living member of her immediate family. She and her
husband, the late Carl Lundquist, had four children. They are all deceased.
Jessie's hobbies over the years were her flower gardens and cro-cheting doilies
as gifts for her family and friends.
