E. Church. Miss Maggie Kuhns Nv ho has been a missionary teacher at Yokohoma, Japan for several years and who is now spending a year with friends in Westmoreland county, will deliver a free lecture in the M. E. church of town next Sunday evening October 28th on Japanese customs, missions and characteristics of the people. The lecture will be well worth hearing, as Miss Kuhns is a fluent and interesting talker and handles her subject in a masterly manner. She is well and favorably known by many of our people as she attended school here a number of terms when the editor of this paper had charge of the Ligonier Normal Institute. As the lecture is free let everybody interested in mission work in the far east be present and learn more of these people among whom Miss Kuhns has been laboring.
