One hundred and sixty-five descendants and friends were present to enjoy the day's activities and to meet the younger generation. Those attending were: Mrs. Elizabeth Frye and daughter, of Youngstown, Pa.; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Stewart of Bellevue; Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Frye, of Bellevue; Sgt. William McKenna. of State College; Arden T. Miller, of State Collage; Donald Campbell, of Latrobe RD; Mr. and Mrs Ed. Stairs and family, of Whitney; Mr. and Mrs. James Stairs, of Acme: Mr. and Mrs. Edward Marks and son, Greensburg; Mr. and Mrs. George Marks and family, of Norvelt; Mr. and Mrs. Herman Huhn, of Mt. Pleasant; Mary Alice Kauffman, Mr. and Mrs, Robert Gibson and family; Mr. and Mrs. Cal Marks, and Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Byerly and family, of Grindstone; Junior Chipalasky, Mr. and Mrs. Ervin McKenna and family; Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Marks and family and Mrs. Alice McKenna. of Latrobe; Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Piper, of Lemont Furnace; Mr. and Mrs. Thos. The oldest couple was Mr. and Mrs. Cal Marks while the youngest baby was George William Harr. A delicious dinner and supper were enjoyed in the large dance hall. The afternoon was taken up by playing games and mushball. A business meeting was called to order by George Marks for the purpose of organizing the clan. The following officers were elected: President, George Marks, of Norvelt; vice president, Edward Marks. of RD, Greensburg; secretary Marilyn Byerly, of Grindstone: and treasurer C. H. Marks, of Laughlintown. The next reunion will be held on July 4th, 1943, at at the same place.
