Two-vehicle crash on Route 30 
State police at Greensburg reported a vehicle crash at 1:43 p.m. Wednesday at
the intersection of Route 30 and Old Route 30 in Hempfield Township. Both
drivers, Christopher Young of Mineral Point, who was operating a 2000
International flatbed tow truck and Nancy Marts of Derry, who was operating a
2005 Jeep Liberty, were traveling on Old Route 30 and were attempting to enter
Route 30. Marts' vehicle, which also contained passenger Mary Jane Burger of New
Derry, stopped for oncoming traffic and was struck from behind by Young's truck.
Both Marts and Burger were transported to Excela Health Latrobe Hospital.
