The Cambria Freeman. (Ebensburg, Pa.) 1867-1938: April 09, 1868 1868
An aged couple (brother and sister) named Walker, residing in Rostraver township,
Westmoreland county, were visited by a party of ruffians. one night recently, who
beat and abused them in a most shocking manner, but failed to find what they were
looking for, money. The old couple, it was feared, would not survive their injuries.
