The Ligonier Echo (Ligonier, Pennsylvania) October 20, 1897
Wm. Stoffer while out hunting last Friday with John S. Kuhns was accidentally shot
in the face and head by Kuhns who had shot at a pheasant, one of his front teeth
being knocked out and several other shot hit him. He was not seriously injured
however.
