The Ligonier Echo (Ligonier, Pennsylvania) 7 January 1944
William H. Ankney, aged 80 years, died at 6 o'clock Thursday
morning, Dec. 30, in the Westmoreland County Home,
Greensburg. He is survived by a son David, of Ligonier RD
1,. The body was brought to the Roy E. Sibel Funeral Home
where funeral services were held at 10:30 o'clock Saturday
morning, with interment in the Ligonier Valley cemetery.
Services were in charge of Rev. R. A. Nelson. He was a
member of the Lutheran church.
