Bale, 77, of 103 Oakview Drive. Ligonier died suddenly Monday, December 27, 1976. He was born August 4, 1899 in England, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William H. Bale. He was a mem ber of Covenant Un-ited Presbyterian Church, Ligonier , was a professional horseman at Rolling Rock Farms, where he had been manager of the stables for forty-five years. He was also a member of Latrobe Elks. 907. He is survived by his wife, Hattie: one son. William R. Bale of Sarver. Pennsylvania: one daughter, Margery A. Bale of England; three brothers, George, Albert and Arthur, all of England: four sisters. Mrs. Helen Wastie, Mrs. Jane White, Mrs. Nancy Hill and 'Mrs. Minnie Bullingham, all of England. The family will receive friends from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. to-day (Wednesday) at the Owen Wolford Funeral Home, East Main Street, Ligonier. Ser- vices will be held in the chapel of the funeral home tomorrow (Thursday) at 2 p.m., the Rev. John J. McClure officiating. Interment will follow in Ligonier Valley Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Covenant United Presbyterian Church Building Fund.
