LOCAL RESIDENT - COUSIN, DEAD Funeral services were held at Canton, yesterday
for the late William Bates whose death had occurred at Adair, following a
protracted Illness. The deceased was 70 yearn of age and was a son of the late
David Bates, who in turn was a brother of the late William Bates, of Derry
township.
