RUTH BEATTY  
Ruth O. Beatty, 65, of Bell Township died yesterday (April 
2, 1974) at 10:45 p.m. in Allegheny Valley Hospital in 
Natrona Heights. She was born Dec 17, 1908 in Bell Township 
to Albert L. and Emma Yockey Wolford. Mrs. Beatty was a 
member of Salina Reformed Church and the Church Guild and of 
Bell Township Grange, all in Bell Township. Survivors 
include her husband, T. Dale Beatty; two sons, Raymond of 
Lyndhurst, Va., and the Rev. Glenn of West Newton; a 
daughter, Mrs. Adam (Iva) Mayer of West Leechburg; five 
grandchildren and two sisters: Mrs. Ray (Florence) Griffith 
of Washington Township and Mrs. Dorcas Beatty of Bell 
Township. Friends will be received in the Bodenhorn and 
Shaffer Funeral Home, 310 S. Second St., Apollo, from 7 to 9 
p.m. today, and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow and 
from 10 a.m. until a service at 1:30 p.m. Friday (April 5, 
1974) with her pastor, the Rev. Carey Bentley, in charge. 
Burial will be in Twin Valley Memorial Park in Delmont.
