Latrobe Bulletin Wed, Feb 09, 1983
Mrs. Hazel M. Bennett, 76, of Latrobe, died Tuesday, Feb. 8, 1983, in Bethlen
Home of Ligonier. She was born June 12, 1906, in Unity Township, a daughter of
the late Frank and Cora Sides McLaughlin. A member of Latrobe Presbyterian
Church and a registered nurse, graduating from West Penn Hospital, she retired
from nursing in 1965 after 35 years of service. She was preceded in death by her
husband, George K. in August 1974. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m.
Tuesday and 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in M.S. Hartman Funeral Home,
Latrobe. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of the funeral
home with the Rev. Reid Stewart and the Rev. Charles Carson officiating.
Interment will be held in Unity Cemetery.
