Latrobe Bulletin (Latrobe, Pennsylvania) · 27 Feb 1932, Sat 
C. H. Bitner died at his home on Baker's Hill, this morning. 
He was 60 years of age. He is survived by his widow and the 
following children: H. S. Bitner, Marian, Helen, Mrs. W. S. 
Laughlia and one grandchild. His mother, Mrs. Mary Bitner, 
of Ligonier, also survives as do the following brother and 
sisters: Mrs. Ida Gilman, Mrs. Fred Wolford and J. C. 
Bitner, of Ligonier and Mrs. George Tosh of Latrobe. He was 
a member of Ligonier Lodge No. 331, F. & A. M.; Pittsburgh 
Consistory Syria Shrine, Geo. S. Kemble Club and Lamas Club. 
A Masonic funeral will be held. Funeral services will be 
held from his late residence on Bakers Hill, Monday 
afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Interment will be in Ligonier 
Valley Cemetery.
