The Ligonier Echo (Ligonier, Pennsylvania) · 3 Mar 1961, Fri 
Mrs. Arminta Noel Bitner, 85, died yesterday at her home 
West Vincent Street. Born September 1, 1875, in Ligonier 
Township, the daughter of the late Jonas and Lavina Nicely 
Noel, she was a lifelong member of the Evangelical United 
Brethren Church, Ligonier. She is survived by her husband, 
Edward, a grandson, Thomas Bitner, a brother and sister, 
Milton Noel and Mrs. Bertha Land, both of Laughlintown. Rev. 
Warren K. Alnor will conduct services tomorrow morning at 10 
in Sibel-Wolford Funeral Home, and burial will be in 
Ligonier Valley Cemetery.
