John Paul Bowman, 63, New York City, N. Y., died suddenly Monday. Born in November,
1897, he was the son of the late Jacob and Elsie Wingard Bowman, arid had resided in
New York since 1929. He was a railroader. He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Duane
“Elsie” Anderson, Derry, and Mrs. Edgar (Mary) I Miller, Latrobe: three brothers J.
Clyde, Latrobe; Vernon, New York City and Kenneth, Derry. Friends will be received
at the Hartman Funeral Home, 310 South Chestnut St. Derry. after noon Thursday and
from 10 a. m. to 10 p. m. daily. Services will be held there Saturday at 2 p.m. in
charge of the Rev. George Marks. Interment will be in Coles Cemetery.
