Mrs. Lois T. Bowman, 88, a resident of the Greensburg Nursing and Convalescent
Center, (formerly of Latrobe) died Thursday, Feb. 25, 1999, at the center. She was
born June 8, 1910, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late John and Blanche (Allison)
McKlveen. She was a member of Latrobe United Methodist Church and the former Golden
Circle Sunday school class. She also had been employed in her earlier years by the
former Stupekoff Corp. and by Standard Steel in Latroe. In addition to her parents,
she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Bowman, March 17, 1984, and her
brother, Thomas J. McKlveen, Oct. 30, 1998. She was the last surviving member of her
immediate family. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Vietta McKlveen of New
Alexandria; her niece, Connie Phillips (and her husband, David) of Dawson; three
great-nephews, and a great-niece. Friends will be received In Hartman-Grazlano
Funeral Home Inc., 1500 Ligonier St, Latrobe from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and
10 until the 11 a.m. service Saturday with her pastor, the Rev. Almee W. Twigg,
officiating. Interment will follow In Unity Cemetery, Unity Township.
