Mrs. Dorothy J. Brant, 68, of 201-1/2 Irving Ave., Latrobe, died Tuesday, Feb.
8, 1983, in Latrobe Area Hospital. She was born Oct. 8, 1914, in Indian Head,
Pa., a daughter of the late John and Laura (Pritts) Pritts. A member of the
Church of God and the Annie Rebecca Lodge 134 of Latrobe, she was preceded in
death by her husband, James F., April 6, 1965. She is survived by one son, Bruce
of Fort Wayne, Ind.; one daughter, Mrs. Ronald (Gail) Ream of El Dorado, Ark.;
two sisters, Mrs. Roy (Rosa) Wolford of Sipesville, Pa., and Mrs. Carl (Irma)
Smith of Ligonier Township; three brothers, Lyman Pritts of Punxsutawney, Pa.,
Ralph of Ligonier and John Raymond of Long Island, N. Y.; four grandchildren and
two great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Wednesday and Thursday in M. S. Hartman Funeral Home, Latrobe. Services will be
held at 11 a.m. Friday in the chapel of the funeral home with the Rev. Charles
Carl officiating. Interment will be held in St. James Lutheran Cemetery,
Youngstown. Annie Rebecca Lodge 134 will hold services at 7:30 p.m. Thurs-day in
the funeral home.
