Bricker, in ill health for some time died in Ligonier shortly before midnight last night at the age of 84 years. Born in the Ligonier Valley, Mr. Bricker made his home for sometime with the late Israel B. Matthews on a farm which is now a part of the Rolling Rock grounds. Later he moved to Derry, being first employed there in a store by Amos Caven. Later he was employed in the Charles Ziegler store at Derry and still later operated a livery business there. He retired in 1904 returning to Ligonier. Recently he had made his home with Mr. and Mrs. John Murphy of Fairfield street, where his death occurred. He Is survived by one nephew and two nieces. The remains have been taken to the Gaskin Funeral Home at Ligonier where services are to be held at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon in charge of the Rev. D. Alan Martens, pastor of the Ligonier Presbyterian church. Interment will be made in the Ligonier Valley Cemetery.
