Brindle, whose term as a member of the Latrobe School Board expired in December, died at 8:20 o'clock last night, at his home 712 East Walnut street. He had been bed-fast for the past 11 months. Mr. Brindle was born in Hostetter, July 11, 1863, the son of the late John and Christina Kuhns Brindle. He bad been a farmer and engaged in the coal business. He moved to Latrobe in 1914. Mr. Brindle is survived by his widow, two sons, Ralph and Lury, both of Latrobe R. D., also by two daughters, Bess, of Latrobe, and Mrs. George Gallagher, of Pittsburgh. He is also survived by five grandchildren, three step-children, Harry and Rhoda Dugan, of Latrobe, and Mrs. R. D. Mowry, of Derry; a nephew, Oliver Osborne, Latrobe, and a niece, Mrs. Orfy Simmons, of Colorado. Funeral will be held at his late home at 2:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon in charge of the Rev. W. R. Craig, pastor of the Presbyterian church, and the Rev. W. V. Barnhart, pastor of the United Brethren church. Interment is to be made in the Youngstown cemetery.
