Mrs. Irene Heffetfinger Brindle, 86, of 1105 Lakeview Drive, Latrobe, (Lawson
Heights) died April 9, 1982, in Latrobe Area Hospital. She was born in
Bradenville Nov. 23, 1895, a daughter of the late David and Florence Penrose
Heffelfinger. She was a member of Latrobe Presbyterian Church. She was preceded
in death by her husband, Ralph Brindle, May 3, 1961, and one son, Russell, Dec.
22, 1974. She is survived by one son, Edward E. of DeLand, Fla.; two daughters,
Miss Florence Brin-dle and Mrs. John (Marie) Lattanzio, both of Latrobe; two
sisters, Mrs. Ethel Meyer of Latrobe and Mrs. William (Jean) Hughes of
Loyalhanna, and seven grandchildren. Friends will be received at the John J.
Lopatich Funeral Home, 601 Weldon St., Latrobe, from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Saturday and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday in
the Unity Chapel with the Rev. Reid W. Stewart officiating. Interment will
follow in Unity Cemetery.
