Latrobe Bulletin (Latrobe, Pennsylvania) Aug 2002
Paul T. Buncie, 69, of Derry, died Sunday, Aug. 4, 2002, in Latrobe Area Hospital.
He was born May 9, 1933, in Bradenville, Derry Township, a son of the late Paul and
Anna Malanofsky Buncie. Mr. Buncie attended Latrobe First Church of God, and retired
from ICI (formerly Westinghouse). He was a member of the Derry Eagles, Derry Rod and
Gun Club, Twin Maples Hunt Club, Derry VFW and the Ukrainian Club in Derry. In
addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley L. (Andrews)
Buncie. Surviving are a son, Paul T. III and wife Ronda, of Derry and six
grandchildren; Also three brothers, Michael of Latrobe, Donald of Donegal and
Leonard of Youngstown; three sisters, Martha McCabe of Ohio, Marie Kuhns and
husband, James, of New Jersey and Betty Rugh of Youngwood; many nieces and nephews.
Service was held Wednesday in Latrobe, with Rev. Mark Yarger officiating. Interment
was in Coles Cemetery, Derry.
