Evelyn L. Buncie, 77, of Bradenville, died Tuesday, April 6, 2010, in Excela Health
Latrobe Hospital. She was born Dec. 21, 1932, in Bradenville, a daughter of the late
George T. Sr. and Thelma A. (Dias) Buncie. Evelyn was a member of St. Rose Church
and had been an avid follower of the local band, Saddle Up. Besides her parents,
Evelyn was preceded in death by three brothers, Donald, George Jr. and Richard
Buncie; and a sister, Barbara Buncie. She is survived by a daughter, Linda M.
Buncie, of Bradenville; a brother, Roy Buncie and his wife, Carole, of Jersey City,
N.J.; a sister, Margaret Knupp and her husband, James, of Luxor; and numerous nieces
and nephews. Family and friends will be received from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday
in the JOHN J. LOPATICH FUNERAL HOME INC., 601 Weldon St., Latrobe. There will be a
blessing service at 10 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home with the Rev. William P.
Donahue officiating. Interment in St. Rose Cemetery.
