Arthur C. Burkhart, 78, of Route 30, Latrobe (Unity Township), died Monday, June
22, 1992, in Latrobe Area Hospital. He was born April 12, 1914, in Baggaley, a
son of the late Henry and Grace Lentz Burkhart. Prior to retirement, he was an
employee of Latrobe Die Casting Co. He was a member of the former Faith Baptist
Church of Latrobe. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son,
Byron; two sisters, Genevieve and Stella Burkhart, and a brother, Raymond.
Surviving are his wife, Agnes C. Mitchell Burkhart; two daughters, Mrs. Robert
(Elaine) Holzer and Mrs. Timothy (Sandra) Myers, both of Latrobe; five
grandchildren; four brothers, Karl of Youngstown, Donald of Irwin, Richard of
Milton, Pa., and Robert of Crystal River, Fla.; three sisters, Mrs. Henry
(Norma) Siarkowski and Mrs. Doris Stine, both of Hagerstown, Md., and Mrs.
Robert (Edna) Hamilton of Youngstown, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Wednesday in John J. Lopatich Funeral Home Inc., 601 Weldon St., Latrobe, where
the funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. Robert
Statler officiating. Interment will follow in Unity Cemetery, Unity Township.
