Latrobe Bulletin Wed, Apr 04, 1984 
Beatrice Burkholder. 87, of Greensburg RD 5, died Monday, April 2, 1984, in
Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. She was born March 30, 1897, in Unity
Township, a daughter of the late William H. and Emma Barnhart Burkholder. Before
her retirement, she was a school teacher for the Greater Latrobe School
District. She was a member of Pleasant Unity United Methodist Church and the
Daughters of the Union Veterans of the Civil War, Ruth F. Barnhart Tent 56. She
was the last member of her family. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m.
Wednesday in James P. Gaut Funeral Home, Inc., Pleasant Unity. Service will be
held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home with the Rev. Keith L. Rieder
officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Unity Methodist Cemetery. Members
of DUV Tent 56 will hold a service at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
