Mrs. Anna Byers, aged 78 years, proprietress of the Mountain Home. summer hotel
at Rector, died on Thursday, Dec. 4, 1930. She is survived by two daughters and
one son: Mrs. Lavan Phillippi, of, Laughlintown, Pearl, at home and Palmer
Byers, of Pitcairn. She is also survived by the following brothers and sisters:
Benjamin Shawley of Ligonier, I. Shawley of Rector, Lincoln Shawley of
Uniontown, Mrs. I. D. Rehm of Waterford and Mrs. Owen Jones of Rector. Funeral
services in charge of the Rev. J. Domer Hammer were held on Saturday at 2:30
o'clock in the Rector Evangelical Church.
