Robert J. Byron, 65, 315 Chestnut St., Derry, died 10 a.m. Sunday at the home of
his brother, Arthur W. Byron, Harrisburg. The deceased was a P.R.R. employe and
came to Derry in 1942 as Pennsylvania engine house fireman. He retired January
1955. Mr. Byron, a World War I veteran, was a member of the Derry VFW. Surviving
are his widow, Kirby Fowler Byron; a son, Kenneth Hugh, a student at the
University of Richmond, and one granddaughter. Cremation and memorial services
will be held at the convenience of the family at North Evans, N. Y.
