Latrobe Bulletin (Latrobe, Pennsylvania) 10 Sep 1987
Mrs. Myrtle K. Carns, 67, of Rector, died Monday, Sep. 7, 1987, in Latrobe Area
Hospital. She was born Aug. 15th, 1920, in Pitcairn, a daughter of the late Edward
and Myrtle Shaulis Kennedy. An active member of Rector United Methodist Church, she
was an adult leader for the Rector 4-H for 17 years. In addition to her parents, she
was preceded in death by one son, Kenneth Eugene Carns, Jr. Service will be held at
11 am Friday, Wolford McCracken Funeral Home, Ligonier. Interment in Fairmont
Cemetery, Cook township.
