Latrobe Bulletin Wed, Apr 03, 1935
Following a two weeks illness with a complication of diseases, Mrs. Hallie
Carroll, aged 64 years, died at 9:30 o'clock this morning at the home of her
daughter, Mrs. Alex May, of Depot street. Mrs. Carroll had made her home in
Latrobe since 1912. She is survived by the following children: Mrs. Alex May,
with whom she had made her home; Mrs. A. A. Vitale of Derry; Mrs. William
Hazlett, of Latrobe; Miss Hazel, Kenneth, Charles and Paul all at home. Eleven
grandchildren also survive as do the following brother and sisters: Thomas Gray,
of Gray Station; Mrs. Margaret Cribbs and Mrs. Charles Foster, both of
Blairsville. Funeral services will be held at the May home at 2 o'clock Friday
afternoon in charge of the Rev. Paul H. McKee, pastor of the Presbyterian
church. Interment will be made in the Blairsville cemetery.
