Pneumonia Is Cause Of Death 
Pneumonia from which he had been suffering since last Thursday evening, claimed
the life at 1:35, yesterday afternoon, of John Anthony Carroll, aged 21 years,
the son of Mr. and Mrs. John P. Carroll, of 1526 Jefferson street. The young man
had been in good health until Tuesday evening, when he came home from work at
the Westinghouse High Voltage plant at Derry, suffering from a heavy cold.
Pneumonia developed on Friday and he grew worse, death following yesterday
afternoon. Mr. Carroll, who is working in Illinois, was notified at once of his
son's death and he started home at once. Besides the parents, eight brothers and
sisters survive. They are: Mrs. Alex May, and the Misses Mary, Margaret, Carolyn
and Hazel, and Kenneth, Charles and Paul.
