Latrobe Bulletin Mon, Jun 16, 1952
Paul M. Casteel, 51, Pleasant Unity, died in the Latrobe Hospital at I1:25 p. m.
Sunday. Death resulted from a coronary condition Lamp boss at the Jamison No. 20
Mine for a number years, he was a member of Local 5758 of the United Mine
Workers of America and the L. O. M. of Latrobe. He is survived by his wife, Mrs.
Nellie Hughes Casteel, and three daughters, Mrs. Dolores Kochis, Gloria and Mary
Pauline Casteel, all at home. Also surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. M.
Casteel, Latrobe R. D. 3, and three brothers, Stewart, of Latrobe R. D. 3;
Victor, Pleasant Unity, and Merle, Latrobe R. D. 3. Friends will be received at
the late home. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p. m., Wednesday in the St.
James Lutheran Church, Youngstown, with Rev. Robert Johns officiating. The body
will lie in state from 1:30 p. m. until the time of the service. Interment will
be made in the church cemetery.
