Latrobe Bulletin Tue, Jun 30, 1959
Mrs. Ella Bartholow Casteel, 81, died at 5 a. m. Tuesday (June 10, 1959), at her
home, Latrobe R. D. 3 (Pleasant Unity). She was the widow of the late Jesse M.
Casteel, who preceded her in death in 1955. Surviving are two sons, Victor
Casteel, Pleasant Unity; Merle Casteel, Latrobe R. D. 3; ten grandchildren; 34
great grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Casteel residence, Latrobe
R. D. 3. Services will be conducted there at 2 p. m. Friday in charge of the
Rev. Donald Power, pastor of the Youngstown St. James Lutheran Church. Interment
will be in the St. Clair Cemetery, Greensburg.
