Latrobe Bulletin Fri, Feb 10, 1939
Following an extended illness, Salbayo Costabile, aged 82 years, died at 4:20
o'clock yesterday afternoon, at the home of his late son, John D. Costabile, at
Slickville. Surviving are the following children: Patsy Costabile, of Baggaley;
Michael Costabile, of Youngwood; Mrs. Anthony Leone, of Blairsville; and Mrs.
Louis Leone, of Greensburg. He is also survived by 29 grandchildren and 24 great
grandchildren. Friends will be received at the home of his late son, John D.
Costabile, from 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon until the time of the funeral which
will be held at 9 o'clock Monday morning. Requiem mass wall be held at 10
o'clock at Our Lady of Grace church, Greensburg. Interment will be made in the
Greensburg Catholic cemetery. Salbayo Costabile lived in Baggaley for three
years, starting in 1903, and is well known in this vicinity.
