Mrs. Custis, 95, of 333 Chester Drive, Lower Burrell, Westmoreland County, was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church, Natrona Heights, and the Knox Chapter 236 Order of the Eastern Star in Mount Vernon, Ohio. Born in Youngstown, near Latrobe, Mrs. Custis attended Adrian College in Michigan. Widow of the late Rev. Dwight L. Custis, she conducted junior church for more than 20 years at Trinity Methodist Church, Youngstown, Ohio, and taught its Hammaker church school class for retired teachers and business women. Mrs. Custis was honored as a member of the Golden Circle of Delta Delta Delta sorority. She is survived by a daughter, Miriam Cairns of Lower Burrell; a son, Robert H. of Lincoln, R.I., and two granddaughters. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 tonight at the Robert E. Peters Funeral Home, 1521 Freeport Road (Route 28), Natrona Heights, where services will be held at 1 p.m. tomorrow. Burial will be in the Unity Cemetery, Unity Township, Westmoreland County.
