The Ligonier Echo (Ligonier, Pennsylvania) · 25 Aug 1971, Wed
Ira J. (Pete) Darr, 85 of Stahlstown, died Monday, August 
23, at Seaman's Rest Home in Somerset. He was born October 
14, 1885, in Cook township, a son of the late Solomon and 
Clara Campbell Darr. He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. 
Marie Hall of Laughlintown and Anna Darr of Rector, and 
several nieces and nephews. Friends are being received at 
the L. Boyd Snyder Funeral Home in Stahlstown, where funeral 
services will be held at 10 a. m. Thursday, August 26, the 
Rev. Ray A. Snair officiating. Interment will be made in the 
Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
