The Ligonier Echo  Fri, Apr 16, 1948 
James Walter Davis, aged 89 years, 10 months and 25 days, died at 1:15 p. m.
Saturday at the McGinnis Hospital, Ligonier, where he had been a patient for the
past two months. He was a retired cashier of the Union Savings and Trust Co.,
Pittsburgh, and made his home at Webster Hall, Pittsburgh. One daughter, in
England, survives. The body was moved from the D. Paul Wilkinson Funeral Home,
Ligonier, to Sandy Lake Monday morning where funeral services and burial took
place.
