Latrobe Bulletin Sat, Aug 19, 1995 
Blanche Y. Saxman Demangone, 89, of Ligonier, formerly of Latrobe, died Tuesday,
Aug. 15, 1995, in the Bethlen Home, Ligonier. She was born Sept. 20, 1905, in
Latrobe, a daughter of the late Clarence and Sarah (Yohe) Saxman. Prior to her
retirement, she was employed as a school teacher in Unity Township School
District for 43 years. She was a member of St. Michaels Episcopal Church in
Rector; a member of the Business and Professional Women of Latrobe; a volunteer
at the Compass Inn, Ligonier; associated with the Local Historical Society of
Ligonier; and a member of the D.A.R. In addition to her parents, she was
preceded in death by her husband, Joseph S. Demangone; two sisters, Elyses
Graham and Sarah Nowlin; and a brother, Fredrick "Ted" Saxman. She is survived
by one brother, John Saxman of Latrobe; and numerous nieces and nephews. Private
graveside services and interment were held Friday in Unity Cemetery, Unity
Township, officiated by the Rev. James Simons. Funeral arrangements by Hartman-
Graziano Funeral Home Inc., Latrobe.
