Death of Samuel Dobson.
Mr. Samuel Dobson, after an illness of about three months, died at his home in
East Greensburg on Thursday morning about 4 o’clock. Mr. Dobson was about 67
years old and at the time of his death was supervisor of the Southwest railroad,
a position which he has held for a number of years and which he filled to the
entire satisfaction of his employers. He has been in the employ of the P. R. R.
Co. for a number of years and was a most efficient officer. About the time of
the flood he was taken sick but recovered sufficiently to be able to attend to
his duties again, but was again taken ill about two weeks ago and lingered until
Thursday morning, when death released him from his sufferings
