Latrobe Bulletin Wed, Aug 22, 1962 
Mrs. Elizabeth E. Duff, 62, Pleasant Unity, died 11:15 a.m. Tuesday at home.
Member of Pleasant Unity Methodist Church, was a teacher at Mountain View
School, member of Eastern Star, White Shrine and Ladies Auxiliary to Kedron
Commandery. Survived by husband, Norman E. Duff; daughter, Norma Jean, Juniata
College, Huntingdon; sisters: Mrs. Jeanne Rose, Canonsburg; Mrs. Lulu A. Bash,
Pleasant Unity; brother Thomas H. Downs, Portland, Oregon. Friends at Jay A.
Hoffer Funeral Home, Norvelt, 3 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Body will lie in state in
Pleasant Unity Methodist Church Friday 2 to 2:30 p.m. when services will be
conducted by the Rev. Alvin K. Smith. Interment Hillview Cemetery, Greensburg.
